"Q" and A with Star Trek Comics Writer Scott Tipton

Writer Scott Tipton has been blazing new trails with IDW's Star Trek comics for over a decade, penning titles like Klingons: Blood Will Tell and the Mirror Broken series, as well as crossing over the heroes of the Federation with other fan-favorite properties such as Planet of the Apes and Doctor Who. Scott and his co-writer and brother David Tipton have now launched perhaps their most ambitious project yet: in The Q Conflict, four Federation crews--those of The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager--are brought together for the first time to face their most powerful threat yet. Cereal At Midnight had the pleasure to chat with Scott about this new comic, creative inspirations and mentors, and the responsibility of carrying on Gene Rodenberry's dream.
