Scott and his co-writer and brother David Tipton have now launched perhaps their most ambitious project yet: in The Q Conflict , four Federation crews--those of The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager -- are brought together for the first time to face their most powerful threat yet. Cereal At Midnight had the pleasure to chat with Scott about this new comic, creative inspirations and mentors, and the responsibility of carrying on Gene Rodenberry's dream.

From time to time, we'll highlight one of these stories and examine it. These are The Continuing Missions. In this installment, we'll look at "The Trial of James T. Kirk" from DC Comics.
