'70s Cinema - An In-Depth Discussion with Cinema Dave!
Ah, the 1970s! There's no other decade quite like it, and the movies that came from the era are a reflection of the rapid social changes that were happening at the time. From The Godfather to Grease, from Serpico to Star Wars, it's an period of unrest, cynicism, and anger, but also of hope, excitement, and nostalgia. It's also the decade in which the blockbuster as we know it now was first born with the movie JAWS ! Please join Heath and Cinema Dave for an in-depth discussion about this tumultuous decade in film and an exploration on how so many of the movies from that reflect so many of our current social struggles. It's a mini-film school session as we dig into the classics!
