Years before Italian film icon Sergio Leone made history with his spaghetti western classics like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West, he cut his teeth in the "peplum" genre. Peplum films were inspired by the epics of Holywood's Golden Age, but NO ONE made movies like the ones coming out of Italy during the fifties and early sixties.
